AWESOME EXPERIENCE! We highly recommend booking this trek if you desire a personal tour guide away from big tour companies. Sinh was very helpful during the trek, as it was VERY slippery and moderate-strenuous hiking due to terrain and weather. Due to booking in March, you gamble with the chance of it being very foggy. Day one of our hike was super wet and foggy, but day two opened up and we were able to experience the beautiful rice terraces, which made the trek absolutely worth it. Sinh took us off the beaten path, and we LOVED the homestay. I would highly advise wearing good hiking shoes and be aware that the trek begins from the church (Sinh kindly provided transport of our bigger luggage to the homestay). Very unique trip, be prepared to hike all day!
