Common Questions
Most 1-day treks are suitable for anyone who can walk 2–3 hours on uneven terrain. We have Very Easy routes designed for seniors and families with young children. Fansipan and multi-day routes require moderate fitness. Tell us your situation on WhatsApp and we'll match you to the right route honestly.
September and October are peak — the rice paddies turn gold and the weather is most stable. March to May is green and the trails are quiet. December and January are cold (sometimes below 0°C at night) but offer clear skies and a very different Sapa. We run tours all year; the weather changes fast in any season, so a rain jacket is always non-negotiable.
Yes — every guide is Black H'mong, born and raised in the villages we trek through. Tzu Hang, Lo Hu, and the rest of our team learned English through years of guiding, not classrooms. This means you get real access to families and places that most tour operators cannot reach.
The fastest way is WhatsApp (+84 886 766 031). Tell us your dates, group size, and which route interests you — we reply within 5–10 minutes and confirm availability immediately. A 20% deposit holds your spot; the rest is paid on the day of the tour in cash or via bank transfer.
Full refund if you cancel at least 48 hours before your tour date. No questions asked. For cancellations within 48 hours, the deposit is non-refundable but transferable to another date.
Comfortable walking shoes are the most important — the trails are uneven and can be muddy after rain. Bring a light rain jacket regardless of the forecast; Sapa weather changes fast. We provide walking poles at the office — just ask when booking. Pack 1.5 litres of water, sunscreen, and a small daypack. We always provide a packed lunch, so you don't need to carry extra food.
