Sapa is one of the places that have the most beautiful fields in Northwest Vietnam. In addition, Sapa is also famous for waterfalls such as Silver Waterfall, Love Waterfall, Tien Sa Waterfall, and Tac Tinh Waterfall (Lai Chau). This is also one of the points you cannot miss when traveling to Sapa.
Silver Waterfall
Silver Waterfall, with an altitude of more than 200 meters, is upstream of the Muong Hoa stream with an altitude of 1,800 meters, located at the foot of O Quy Ho pass.
Standing on the top of Ham Rong mountain in the center of Sa Pa town, you can see the white Silver waterfall on clear days, and this is also the origin of the waterfall’s name.
From the high ravine, the water rumbles down. The foam is white like flowers, so the people call it Silver Waterfall. Thac Bac area is one of the places with the heaviest snowfall in Sa Pa; in March 2011, the waterfall area was covered with snow up to 10 cm thick.
Love Waterfall
Love Waterfall is about 12km from Sapa town. It is located in the Tram Ton area, near the top of O Quy Ho pass. This is considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sapa and is one of the unspoiled destinations to don’t miss when visiting Sapa.
Love Waterfall attracts tourists not only by its poetic and majestic scenery but also by the romantic love story of the heavenly fairy and the woodcutter O Quy Ho.
The waterfall is located in the San Sa Ho village area, about 4 km from the center of Sa Pa town to the southwest and about 3 km from O Quy Ho, passing in a straight line. Love Waterfall is also the starting point of trekking tours to conquer Fansipan peak – the highest mountain in Vietnam.
Love Waterfall has a relative height of nearly 100m and an absolute height of nearly 1800m above sea level. The waterfall is located on the Golden stream, originating from the top of Fansipan and flowing through the high and steep terrain.
From a distance, the waterfall looks like a cone. On both sides of the waterfall is lush green forest vegetation. Love Waterfall is located in the core area of Hoang Lien National Park and is a new place to be put into tourism.
Tac Tinh Waterfall (Tam Duong, Lai Chau)
Tac Tinh Waterfall is also known as Tắc Tình Waterfall, as the people here call it.
This is one of the attractive tourist destinations and attracts tourists to admire.
Located in Binh Lu village, Tam Duong district, Tinh waterfall is in the middle of a mountainous region; looking from afar, the waterfall looks like a soft silk strip dropping into the vast space of majestic mountains.

Itinerary
In the morning: Silver Waterfall, Love Waterfall, and Heaven Gate.
Start at 8:30 Am, from Sapa town. Our guide will pick you up from your Hotel in Sapa or in front of Sapa Church. Then it depends on whether you can choose to do this tour by motorbike or car.
After a short introduction from our guide, you will be taken about 10KM on Highway 4D to the Silver Waterfall.
9:30 AM: Arrive at the Silver Waterfall. From here, we will stop the motorbike/car and start a short walk up small stairs to the waterfall.
Continue climbing to Sapa Silver Waterfall. You can also admire the panoramic view of Sapa mountain town, Sin Chai valley, with the village looming in the mist. You are surrounded by rolling mountains undulating towards the horizon.
Here you will probably have to take many photos, especially if you are a photographer.
After enjoying the Silver waterfall, we will make our way to Love Waterfall, just about 2Km from Silver Waterfall.
10:40 AM: We will arrive at the station of Love Waterfall. We will need to stop motorbike/car here, then take hiking about 1KM along a small trail to the Love Waterfall.
Continue, and you will see a golden stream. Golden Stream has a length of about 1,600m. The stream has a lovely amber color; the yellow color of the stream and the green of the surrounding trees create a very romantic and poetic scene. On one side of the stream, there is a very flat stone path.
Going to the end of the stream, visitors will reach Love Waterfall. Love Waterfall is about 100m high. Although not as magnificent as Silver Waterfall, Love Waterfall is beautiful, gentle, and full of romance.
The water of the waterfall flows very gently. Below the waterfall, there is a small lake, you can go to the lake to bathe because the water is very clear and cool.
11:30 – 12:00 AM: We will be back at our transfer and go to the next waterfall, is about 34KM from Love Waterfall.
Along the way, you also can stop at the Sapa Heaven Gate or somewhere to take photos with beautiful views.
Afternoon: Tac Tinh Waterfall – One of the most beautiful waterfalls in Tam Duong, Lai Chau
12:30 PM: We will arrive at the Tam Duong district. This is also a place where we will have lunch.
1:00 PM: After lunch, we will make our way ahead to Tac Tinh Waterfall.
1:20 PM: Arrive at the bottom of the Tac Tinh Waterfall. Then we will need to stop our transfer here and take short trekking of about 10 – 15 minutes to get to the waterfall.
We arrive here; you will see the waterfall is about 120m high and falls vertically, the foot of the waterfall is about 40m wide, at the foot of the waterfall, is a clear blue lake approximately 200m2 wide like a mirror in the middle of the mountains. Couples who love each other often come here to pray for their happy future to be sustainable. The waterfall is associated with the legend of the faithful and intense love of the Dao couple.
Tac Tinh Waterfall is a masterpiece of nature, rich space, and charming scenery. It does not flow in a line but interrupts the rhythm, showing the magical magnificence of space.
This is the most beautiful waterfall in Sapa compared to the other waterfall.
If you have time, you also can go swimming here.
3:00 PM: We will head back to our transfer and go back to Sapa. It takes about 1.3 hours to arrive in Sapa.
4:30 – 5:00 PM: Arrive in Sapa (your hotel). Don’t forget to hug our guides and keep in touch. It’ll likely be an experience to remember, and a new friend made.
(The tour will end at about 5PM in Sapa town, so you can book a bus back to Hanoi or somewhere after that)
Bus From Hanoi to Sapa (Optionnal)
This is optional and will not include in the tour price.
Bus from Hanoi <=> Sapa, It takes about 6 hours. If you arrive at Sapa early, the bus will let you sleep until 5 AM.
The Cabin Sleeper Bus and Single Cabin Sleeper Bus are private, but if you are taller than 1m7, you might consider the Sleeper Bus because you can adjust the bed, making you more comfortable. However, if you want private, the other 2 options would be best.
