Itinerary

Day 0: HANOI – SAPA

9:30 PM: The sleeper bus will pick you up at 5 Tran Nguyen Han to Sapa, Lao Cai. So please come to this address.
It takes about 6 hours to get in Sapa.
The bus will drop you at at 436 Đường Điện Biên Phủ, Sapa

Overnight: On the sleeper bus

You can catch the bus at the airport, so it is recommended that you book a flight to Noi Bai that arrives before 10:30 PM. Buses depart daily, and you can either go to Sapa before or stay in Sapa after the trekking tour.

Day 1: DAY 1 – SAPA – HO THAU

4:00 AM: Arrive in Sapa, you can tak a walk to our office at 025 Thác Bac str.
6:00 AM: Enjoy breakfast at a restaurant in Sapa and leave behind unnecessary items (Vietnamese Pho)
6:30 AM: Your guide will brief you on the itinerary and provide instructions for the journey.
7:00 AM: Depart for the trekking point at Ho Thau, approximately 60km from Sapa.
9:00 AM: Arrive at the trekking point, hand over your belongings to the porter. The journey begins.
12:00 PM: Take a break and have lunch at Thao Qua Valley.
4:00 PM: Arrive at the first camping site, Ho Thau Camp, rest, and prepare for dinner.
6:30 PM: Have dinner, socialize with other members of the group, and enjoy the peaceful mountainous atmosphere. Spend the night in a windproof wooden hut with blankets and thermal insulation mats.

Day 2: CONQUERING PUTALENG PEAK ACROSS PRISTINE FOREST

5:30 AM: Wake up, enjoy breakfast, and savor a cup of hot coffee or ginger tea.
6:30 AM: Begin the final trek to conquer the summit.
9:30 AM: Arrive at the Pu Ta Leng Peak, rest, take pictures, check-in and admire the scenery on the mountaintop. Then return to the camping site.
12:30 PM: Have lunch at the hut, pack up your belongings and move on to the second camping site, Ta Leng Camp.
4:00 PM: Arrive at the camping site, rest, and have dinner.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Overnight: Wooden hut

Day 3: PUTA LENG – SAPA – HANOI

5:30 AM: Wake up early to catch the sunrise and have breakfast.
6:30 AM: Pack your personal belongings and continue trekking for over 6 hours to reach the center of Ta Leng Commune.
12:45 PM: Take a break, have lunch, then head back to Sapa.
4:00 PM: Arrive in Sapa and board the bus back to Hanoi
10:00PM: You will arrive in Hanoi, the bus will drop you at the 5 Tran Nguyen Han, Hanoi. End of the trip.

Difficulty 7/10

The tour involves trekking for three days and two nights, with the final trek to the summit being the most challenging part of the journey. The trek also requires a good level of physical fitness and endurance due to the steep inclines and high altitude. Things you should bring

Raincost
Trekking shoes (high-top ones are the best) provide a comfortable and snug fit with a good grip sole.
Clothing for the 3-day-2-night mountain trek:
- 2 long pants (preferably quick-drying) and 1 long-sleeved shirt (preferably a thin windbreaker) to wear while trekking.
- 3-4 T-shirts
- A warm, thick jacket for the evenings in the camp.
- A super-thin wool or down jacket to wear while sleeping.
- A pair of beekeeper slippers to wear at the campsite.
- A scarf (not a woolen one) to prevent cold and easy to dry when wet.
- 3-5 pairs of long, thick socks (avoid low-cut ones).
- Personal items: mosquito repellent, sunglasses, hat, camera, underwear, and personal hygiene items.
Heat retention patch, personal medication, and identification documents.
